Vinnaithandi Varuvaya

Yesterday I saw the Tamil film Vinnaithandi Varuvaya starring simbu and Trisha. Yesterday, being a holiday I didn’t have anything to do and so I felt really bored till evening 5.so I went for this film and I was thoroughly entertained. a beautiful love story told in a different style. The film is made really in a colorful way and not even a single scene was boring and the music was outstanding. Trisha is looking really pretty on this film. It’s the story of a young man who really succeeded in his dream to be a film maker, but didn’t succeed in marrying the girl whom he was crazy about. So the film ends with a sad feeling. I really enjoyed the film.

REUNION WITH MY FRIENDS

It was totally a beautiful and cracking day for me yesterday .me and my friends had a lot of fun in a water theme park at Ernakulam. It’s not because that we were really entertained by the thrilling rides at the park. It’s just because of the fact that we were all together once again after finishing our college life 3 years before. Really it’s a great feeling to see our college mates who once gave each other lots of fun and memories to laugh each second. For any young guy who enjoyed his college life a lot will really be sad thinking about his old days if he is not with his old friends. Those days will never come back. Those days were completely tension free, the days in which we only had to go to the college and enjoy. I was so happy yesterday that I met all my close friends whom I missed a lot.

COMPARISON OF LIVE BAEARING AQUATIC FISHES

I had written many posts about live bearing aquatic fishes, but still I would like to write about them a lot. This post provides a comparison between albino guppies, mollies and swordtails.
One of the main factors concerned with breeding live bearing aquatic fishes is making their babies grow faster. Of course baby fishes of mollies, guppies and swordtails grow without much care, but still making them grow faster in a healthy way to good show quality fishes is not easy.
It’s well known that infusorians are the best food for baby guppies, but I believe that leaving some new born baby albino guppies in a planted tank for weeks with the intention that they will grow well feeding on infusorians is not a good idea. This is because albino guppies are naturally poor in vision and so they are not good in feeding on infusorians. So they require other special food considering the fact that they are slow to grow.
In my experience mollies are far less cannibalistic than swordtails and guppies. Baby mollies can be put along with their parents, may be in rare cases some will be lost, but most of them will be alive. Mollies love planted aquariums and it’s good to keep mollies in a tank with variety of plants because they will find plenty of food from the plants.
According to me swordtails are more carnivorous than any other common live bearers. Swordtail mothers go after their babies immediately after giving birth and they are known to be lovers of beef heart and chicken liver. Young swordtails grow well on a diet consisting of tubifex worms.

PUNJAB DROPPED VICTORY

Another disappointing match for Punjab super kings yesterday in which they can blame only themselves. After setting themselves a challenging total of 182 in the first innings they helped the Bangalore royal challengers to win the match easily by providing a lot of drop catches. Punjab was on control even after 16 overs of the Bangalore innings. But it was the sensational striking which Robin Utthapa displayed in the 17 the over that Brett lee bowled which turned the match completely against Punjab. At 48 needed from 4 over Bangalore was breathing very easily after Brett lee’s over having taken 25 runs from the 17th over that lee bowled. With more than 3 drop catches with Bopara, Sreesanth and the captain sangakkara himself as culprits, the Punjab team was not playing in a way that they deserve a victory .a good and solid inning s played by Kevin Petersen then another blazing innings by virat kohli and a yet another blazing knock in which robin scored 22 of 8 balls eventually gave Bangalore an easy win. The team strength of Bangalore is very evident considering the fact that a they have been winning matches keeping a superb striker like Ross Taylor as a spectator and the legendary cricketer Rahul Dravid not even getting a chance to bat. So all the hopes of Punjab had died with this match.

IPL,SO FAR

After the loss of three consecutive matches initially it’s been a sensational comeback made by Rajasthan royals in IPL 2010. Having beaten Chennai in the last match played yesterday Rajasthan seems to be a team that could easily go to the finals. Two devastating innings played by yusuf Pathan had turned the spotlight towards him in this IPL also. I think Rajasthan royals will look better if Shane Watson also returns to the team. His genuine all-round capability can do wonders to any team. This IPL has so far proved to be a bad season for Punjab and Chennai led by India’s big hitters Yuvraj and Dhoni.I think considering all the matches played up to now Sachin is the real hero. The boosting confidence that he gained after setting himself the world record score of double hundred in one day match has done wonders to his form and mentality. His confidence and enthusiasm has now reflected to his team Mumbai Indians and that’s why they are at the top now. Chennai has to find some alternatives to improve their bowling otherwise its going to be very tuff for Chennai in the coming matches. With the way Punjab is playing now, it gives me the impression that nothing is going right for them.Deccan chargers are also pushed a step backward after their promising start in the tournament. The sensational form being shown by the players Adam Gilchrist, Sachin Tendulkar and jack kallis who have passed the age of 36 makes this IPL special

AFRICAN WILD DOGS

Wild dogs are commonly found in Africa.Eventhough they are very lean and small, as a pack they can be devastating as any other predator. They live and hunt together in large numbers which make them a potential threat for any animal. Wild dogs are even known to attack tigers. They live in a well organized and social way with almost every adult taking care of the pups and giving alerts to others. Wild dogs raise their young in the abandoned dens of other animals and they change their dens periodically. Pups grow very fast and assist the adults in the hunting process from young age. They have a phenomenal strike rate in hunting with almost 80% hunts ending in success. Unlike many other predators wild dogs start eating their prey before it dies. They can reproduce at anytime of the year and a single litter may contain 2 to 19 pups. Wild dogs are known to hunt large animals like wildebeest, African buffalo and giraffe calves. Like many fascinating animals that we see in the wild today wild dogs are also endangered because of human over population. Because of the fact that they require large areas of forest and the struggle to hunt in the presence of other predators their numbers are really declining. Lions are well known to kill wild dogs without any hesitation and most often they just kill them without taking them as a food source.

BEING ALONE

After 3 days at home i had returned to the city of ernakulam.Nowadays i feel so bored in this city because the room in which i am living is in a remote area and there are not much entertainments.There are some people living in the nearby rooms of my apartment ,but still its not very pleasant being away from my friends.My best friend was here with me for two months,but unfortunately he got a transfer in his job and now he is far away from me.I think these are one of those real lonely feelings in life that we hate most.I think i should work here for more than a year before i find another job.i wish to live in an area somewhere closer to the busy streets here,but its hard to get one and so there is no way other than being alone

INDIA WON THE SECOND TEST MATCH

There was a loud appeal from the crowd too when Harbhajan Singh appealed for the lbw to get the last wicket of morkel in the second test match against southafrica played at kolkata.The match was so important to India because of two reasons. One reason was that it’s a real prestige issue for India to lose the test series played at home and the other was that India could keep their number one position in test match only by winning this match. It was really nail biting moments during the last session of day five when the last pair of amla and morkel promised south Africa very much. It was a thrilling victory for India with just a few overs away before it was supposed to be called as a draw match. India won the match by an innings and 57 runs giving the south Africans an excellent reply for what they did to India in the first match. The absence of Zaheer was well tackled by the three bowlers mishra , harbhajan and Sharma with Sharma getting two crucial wickets towards the end.Harbhajan was the man for India,getting five wickets to lead the nation to victory. The England cricket team had drawn twice against sothafrica in the same situation as South Africa was in today. So they might have thought that this was their day and it almost looked so with Hashim Amla in the crease playing in an unshakable way. Anyway these are one of those rare occasions when test match becomes so interesting to watch.
