My Sister returned to India

My sister and her husband who has been in US for the past 3 years returned yesterday to India quitting their stay in US temporarily. They will be here for 3 coming years as she is planning to do her post graduation in our home town. As per my suggestion she brought plenty of tinned foods for my fish. They include brine shrimp eggs, freeze dried blood-worms, brine shrimp flakes etc.Well, I just don’t mean that she brought only these fish products. These were the main items ordered by me. I wish I could breed plenty of batches of fish in the days ahead with these brine shrimp eggs which are hatch-able.

INDIAN CRICKET TEAM LOOKING GOOD

After winning the third and final match in the test series against Newzealand, India grabbed the series and proved that they deserve to be the No.1 side in test cricket. The series was particularly noted by Harbhajan’s fabulous performance with the bat scoring two centuries and a fifty which earned him the man of the series award. The emergence of k Williamson as a promising player has also been noted. Currently India’s pace bowling looks safe in the hands of ishanth, sreeshanth and zaheer.Pragyan ojha will be an excellent spin option for India in future. Yesterday I saw the Tamil film Vinnaithandi Varuvaya starring simbu and Trisha. Yesterday, being a holiday I didn’t have anything to do and so I felt really bored till evening 5.so I went for this film and I was thoroughly entertained. a beautiful love story told in a different style. The film is made really in a colorful way and not even a single scene was boring and the music was outstanding. Trisha is looking really pretty on this film. It’s the story of a young man who really succeeded in his dream to be a film maker, but didn’t succeed in marrying the girl whom he was crazy about. So the film ends with a sad feeling. I really enjoyed the film.

REUNION WITH MY FRIENDS

It was totally a beautiful and cracking day for me yesterday .me and my friends had a lot of fun in a water theme park at Ernakulam. It’s not because that we were really entertained by the thrilling rides at the park. It’s just because of the fact that we were all together once again after finishing our college life 3 years before. Really it’s a great feeling to see our college mates who once gave each other lots of fun and memories to laugh each second. For any young guy who enjoyed his college life a lot will really be sad thinking about his old days if he is not with his old friends. Those days will never come back. Those days were completely tension free, the days in which we only had to go to the college and enjoy. I was so happy yesterday that I met all my close friends whom I missed a lot.

I had written many posts about live bearing aquatic fishes, but still I would like to write about them a lot. This post provides a comparison between albino guppies, mollies and swordtails.
One of the main factors concerned with breeding live bearing aquatic fishes is making their babies grow faster. Of course baby fishes of mollies, guppies and swordtails grow without much care, but still making them grow faster in a healthy way to good show quality fishes is not easy.
It’s well known that infusorians are the best food for baby guppies, but I believe that leaving some new born baby albino guppies in a planted tank for weeks with the intention that they will grow well feeding on infusorians is not a good idea. This is because albino guppies are naturally poor in vision and so they are not good in feeding on infusorians. So they require other special food considering the fact that they are slow to grow.
In my experience mollies are far less cannibalistic than swordtails and guppies. Baby mollies can be put along with their parents, may be in rare cases some will be lost, but most of them will be alive. Mollies love planted aquariums and it’s good to keep mollies in a tank with variety of plants because they will find plenty of food from the plants.
According to me swordtails are more carnivorous than any other common live bearers. Swordtail mothers go after their babies immediately after giving birth and they are known to be lovers of beef heart and chicken liver. Young swordtails grow well on a diet consisting of tubifex worms.

PUNJAB DROPPED VICTORY

Another disappointing match for Punjab super kings yesterday in which they can blame only themselves. After setting themselves a challenging total of 182 in the first innings they helped the Bangalore royal challengers to win the match easily by providing a lot of drop catches. Punjab was on control even after 16 overs of the Bangalore innings. But it was the sensational striking which Robin Utthapa displayed in the 17 the over that Brett lee bowled which turned the match completely against Punjab. At 48 needed from 4 over Bangalore was breathing very easily after Brett lee’s over having taken 25 runs from the 17th over that lee bowled. With more than 3 drop catches with Bopara, Sreesanth and the captain sangakkara himself as culprits, the Punjab team was not playing in a way that they deserve a victory .a good and solid inning s played by Kevin Petersen then another blazing innings by virat kohli and a yet another blazing knock in which robin scored 22 of 8 balls eventually gave Bangalore an easy win. The team strength of Bangalore is very evident considering the fact that a they have been winning matches keeping a superb striker like Ross Taylor as a spectator and the legendary cricketer Rahul Dravid not even getting a chance to bat. So all the hopes of Punjab had died with this match.

IPL,SO FAR

After the loss of three consecutive matches initially it’s been a sensational comeback made by Rajasthan royals in IPL 2010. Having beaten Chennai in the last match played yesterday Rajasthan seems to be a team that could easily go to the finals. Two devastating innings played by yusuf Pathan had turned the spotlight towards him in this IPL also. I think Rajasthan royals will look better if Shane Watson also returns to the team. His genuine all-round capability can do wonders to any team. This IPL has so far proved to be a bad season for Punjab and Chennai led by India’s big hitters Yuvraj and Dhoni.I think considering all the matches played up to now Sachin is the real hero. The boosting confidence that he gained after setting himself the world record score of double hundred in one day match has done wonders to his form and mentality. His confidence and enthusiasm has now reflected to his team Mumbai Indians and that’s why they are at the top now. Chennai has to find some alternatives to improve their bowling otherwise its going to be very tuff for Chennai in the coming matches. With the way Punjab is playing now, it gives me the impression that nothing is going right for them.Deccan chargers are also pushed a step backward after their promising start in the tournament. Like many fascinating animals that we see in the wild today wild dogs are also endangered because of human over population. Because of the fact that they require large areas of forest and the struggle to hunt in the presence of other predators their numbers are really declining. BEING ALONE

After 3 days at home i had returned to the city of ernakulam.Nowadays i feel so bored in this city because the room in which i am living is in a remote area and there are not much entertainments.There are some people living in the nearby rooms of my apartment ,but still its not very pleasant being away from my friends.My best friend was here with me for two months,but unfortunately he got a transfer in his job and now he is far away from me.I think these are one of those real lonely feelings in life that we hate most.I think i should work here for more than a year before i find another job.i wish to live in an area somewhere closer to the busy streets here,but its hard to get one and so there is no way other than being alone

INDIA WON THE SECOND TEST MATCH

There was a loud appeal from the crowd too when Harbhajan Singh appealed for the lbw to get the last wicket of morkel in the second test match against southafrica played at kolkata.The match was so important to India because of two reasons. One reason was that it’s a real prestige issue for India to lose the test series played at home and the other was that India could keep their number one position in test match only by winning this match. It was really nail biting moments during the last session of day five when the last pair of amla and morkel promised south Africa very much. It was a thrilling victory for India with just a few overs away before it was supposed to be called as a draw match. India won the match by an innings and 57 runs giving the south Africans an excellent reply for what they did to India in the first match. The absence of Zaheer was well tackled by the three bowlers mishra , harbhajan and Sharma with Sharma getting two crucial wickets towards the end.Harbhajan was the man for India,getting five wickets to lead the nation to victory. The England cricket team had drawn twice against sothafrica in the same situation as South Africa was in today. So they might have thought that this was their day and it almost looked so with Hashim Amla in the crease playing in an unshakable way. Anyway these are one of those rare occasions when test match becomes so interesting to watch.

Its really good to hear that the indian selectors decided to include suresh raina for the next test match against SouthAfrica.He has played 87 one day matches for india and didnt get a chance for the tests before.so its high time that india should test his abilities in the longer version of the game.I am not sure how successful he will be in the tests just because of the fact that he is a fearless hitter of the cricket ball like yuvraj.Hard hitting batsmen are not always very successful in test matches.But when we talk about virender sehwag, it's a totally different situation.He has the ability to stand longer in test matches with the record of scoring two triple hundreds in test matches,but what's really strange is that he gets out often very quickly in the one day matches.I think if virender sehwag can do a good mind work about this matter he can be a great asset for india in the one day matches.Now raina has got the opportunity and the next test match will give us some measure of how he will deal the test matches.we will wait and see.

WORKLOAD FOR ME

I am having very high workload in my office nowadays. I never thought that I will be loaded with this much work in this early stage of my job. Nowadays I am working from nine in the morning to eight in the evening. so in all these days my life is like, going to office then returning to room, sleeping and then again going to office in the morning, for 6 days in a week. It’s really tiresome to work 11 hours in a day. As a result I am having the temptation to get myself drunk after my office time. I am also away from my home, so there is nothing else to bother when I go to drink alcohol. Well, I don’t mean that I am a drunkard .But it’s just due to the bored feeling that I am getting drunk nowadays in the evening. Anyway I always make it sure that I don’t drink beyond the limits.

I am showing you some pictures of animal attacks here.some pictures are funny too.These pictures may tell you ' never mess with nature'.Those monkeys are attacking a car which which had undergone some trouble and couldn't move.You can see the monkey with the stick trying to hit the man.what happened later is unknown to me.whenever you are in a place which is supposed to have a lot of wild animals you should take some care.Monkeys will be always in an exploring mood and it that process they might hurt you.So monkeys are also never safe and i don't think that i have to tell you about crocodiles and lions ,they are simply devastating.

WHITE CROW

Can you see the white crow on this picture?This crow was found here in the town of attingal in trivandrum city.you might kow that white crows are not naturally found anywhere.Its very rare and its due to some unusual genetic changes that white crows are hatched from the eggs of black parents.The problem was that because of its pretty white color his black parents and other fellow mates hated it when it grew up and he was attacked and chased by all the other black crows and this crow was found exhausted near the house of the two boys whom you are seeing in this picture.But now he is well cared by the people of this family.This is another proof that albino varieties can be born from any type of creatures.Anyway i think white crows can be treated in the same way as white pigeons if we get one.

LOSING IN FINALS

It’s really unfortunate that team India is losing most of the finals in tournaments. The way they perform in bilateral series is so good that it’s hard to understand why they are losing in the finals. According to me the Indian cricket team is the most resourceful team in international cricket now. the skipper Dhoni himself is a cool person and he handles pressure situations very well, but here after he needs to make it sure that he handles the finals well, otherwise its going to affect his reputation a great deal. India can never boast themselves after winning the test series against Bangladesh. India should show it against Australia and South Africa that they deserve the number one position in test cricket. I think the next series against South Africa will be very thrilling to watch. Hopefully yuvraj and sachin will be in good form in that series.

MY HOTEL STAY

Nowadays I am really lazy to wake up early in the morning. May be it’s because of the fact that I am staying in a four star hotel now. So its great pleasure to have a good sleep after a tasty dinner. As a result for the last two days I have been reaching office half an hour late. I am a little afraid whether the management will warn me. Staying in a four star hotel doesn’t mean that I am paying that big room rent and money for food. This hotel is owned by my family friend. So he offered me with free stay and food till I find a room to stay in this city. So I am really enjoying the luxuries and experiences in this hotel which includes buffet dinner, buffet breakfast, internet café, swimming pool and gaming centers. But I really wonder what will be my state of mind when I suddenly change to a small room. Well it will be really hard for me to adjust to a totally different condition and within two days it will happen. I hope I can express my condition at that time in another post.

IN ERNAKULAM CITY

Travelling has become almost like a daunting task for me here in this city of Ernakulam.its been more than a week since I came to the city and in all these days I never got an opportunity to be seated while travelling in the transport buses here. Such is the rush here. I wonder where these people are going every now and then.well,I don’t mean that this is the busiest city in India ,but this has been certainly beyond my expectations about this city. I am missing my motor bike so much and I should bring it here as soon as possible. Otherwise I am going to have big trouble in shopping and other outings here. I think it will take quite some days before I get adjusted to the conditions here. As per my job schedule I am having only 1 holiday in a week. So I think I shall go only once in two weeks to my home.
